A photograph of a new charcoal commission recently acquired from a Perth Art collector, hanging on location. I love it with the still life in front and a really beautiful welcoming to any home. The original image is of a statue of what we are assuming is an Angel which I have done a charcoal study. I cannot give credit to the Artist who carved the statue because we unfortunately don’t know.
If Any body is interested in commissioning I am available and up for a challenge.Just contact me through the contact page.
P.s :Thank you Jo for the photograph.

After much time I finally completed a copy of Anthony Van Dyke’s portrait of Maria de Tassis c1629. The orginal is currently in Liechtensten and is a beautiful portrait. My main reason to undertake this painting was to understand glazing and the soft and gentle nuances it gives a painting especially the folds and different surfaces of materials
